This Privacy Policy describes how FundedLog ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the application. By using FundedLog you agree to the practices described here. This page is a product draft—have counsel review and customize it for your jurisdiction before public launch.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to visitors of our marketing site and registered users of the FundedLog trading journal application (web app and any related progressive web app experience).

Information we collect

Account data: email, display name, username, profile preferences, and authentication metadata provided by our auth provider (Supabase).
Trading content you submit: trades, journals, pre-market plans, strategies, playbooks, tags, screenshots, and related notes.
Technical data: approximate device/browser information, IP-derived location at a coarse level (via hosting/CDN), logs needed for security and debugging, and optional error telemetry if Sentry is enabled.

How we use information

We use your information to operate and improve the product: store and display your journal, compute analytics, enforce account security and rate limits, send essential service messages (e.g. password or email change confirmations), and maintain platform reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Public profiles

If you enable a public profile and choose which stats to show, the limited information you opt into may be visible to anyone with the profile link. Private accounts and non-shared stats are not published on that page.

Data storage & security

Application data is stored with our infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase / hosting on Vercel). Access to user records is designed to be scoped to your account (including database row-level security). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

Retention & deletion

We retain account and journal data while your account is active. You may export or delete trading data from within the app where those features are available. Deleting your account is intended to remove associated personal records, subject to short-term backups and legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Use in-app tools where available, or contact the address below.

Children

FundedLog is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
